Resource Centre

PIANGO stresses the importance of developing a Resource Centre within the Secretariat to maintain the relevant resources for NGOs and other stakeholders in the region. In its corporate objective, the Information Sharing programme is tasked to:

1. Establish and maintain an up-to date resource centre to support the information needs of NLUs and their NGO constituencies
2. Design an appropriate cataloging system and catalogue existing resource materials,
3. Establish an innovative system for lending resources to NGO workers in the region and
4. Regularly survey NGOs workers to identify their resources, review new materials and evaluate services.
