Strengthening CSO Platform in the Pacific
PIANGO’s approach to capacity strengthening for its national liaison units is characterized by its collaborative process based on feedback and Action Re-search (Action Research here is defined as a research process which integrates members of the system under study into the research team). This approach will require PIANGO to work with its NLUs collaboratively from the initial stage of defining the problem, collecting data, analysing the data and developing possible solutions. While PIANGO provides the initial support, the NLUs are encouraged to take full responsibility for implementing the solutions chosen.
